The role

Own the technical foundation of ChargeSecured's payments, checkout-evidence, and dispute-automation platform — from architecture and security to the engineering team that ships it. Report directly to the CEO and sit on the founding leadership team.

What you'll own

  • Architecture for payments, checkout SDK, evidence capture, and automated dispute response
  • Security, compliance, and reliability across a system that touches card data and merchant funds
  • Hiring and leading the engineering team as ChargeSecured scales
  • Technical partnership with processors, card networks, and hardware/terminal vendors

What we're looking for

  • Experience leading engineering in payments, fintech, or fraud/risk infrastructure
  • Comfort operating at both the architecture level and hands-on in the codebase, early on
  • A bias toward shipping — this is a founding-team seat, not a maintenance role
